How does it work?

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a derivative of the male hormone testosterone, is the enemy of hair follicles on your head. Simply put, under certain conditions DHT wants those follicles dead. The hormonal process of testosterone converting to DHT, which then harms hair follicles, happens in both men and women.

Androgenetic Alopecia or common male pattern baldness (MPB) accounts for more than 95% of hair loss in men. By the age of thirty-five two-thirds of American men will experience some degree of appreciable hair loss and by the age of 50 approximately 85% of men have significantly thinning hair.

Mistakenly thought to be a strictly male disease, women actually make up forty percent of American hair loss sufferers. Hair loss in women can be absolutely devastating for the sufferer's self image and emotional well being.

Testosterone converts to DHT with the aid of the enzyme Type II 5-alpha reductase, which is held in a hair follicle's oil glands. Scientists now believe that it's not the amount of circulating testosterone that's the problem but the level of DHT binding to receptors in scalp follicles. DHT shrinks hair follicles, making it impossible for healthy hair to survive.

Common hair loss myths...Your hair follicles aren't blocked, malnourished or suffering from poor circulation. They're dying from DHT. This is what causes hair loss. Anything that will stop hair loss, cure baldness or regrow hair must block DHT or overpower its effects. This can only occur at the molecular level inside your body.

Don't get scammed...On July 7, 1989 the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced its ban on fraudulent hair growth products. This ban is in effect today, yet fraudulent hair growth products are everywhere. These products promise to grow hair by unblocking your follicles, nourishing your scalp or increasing your circulation. Save your money.
